Lightning –
I was concerned the fit chart would not work for me but I followed what SAS said on how to measure and the fit is perfect. I made sure to get the “Double Wide” width and it is tall and wide enough to fit my very high arch comfortably. I told my wife these are the shoes to bury me in. She said, “they don’t bury you in shoes.” I said, “Do It For These!”

I was buying these for my 90 year old father. Walking is becoming more difficult, so I’m looking for shoes that look like dress shoes, but feel and function like walking shoes. These look very “orthopedic” and seem well made, but even the Narrow is quite wide.

The first pair of SAS shoes were bought in Israel.
They were just what I needed. So I bought a second pair for dress up. They are comfortable and good looking.
Keep up the great work.

I have been a fan of sas shoes for well over 10 years, the only shoes I can work a 13 hour shift standing and have no pain. That is until these!!! I am truly disappointed by these shoes. They have no ventilation or breathing holes, it becomes a sauna every day by midday! By end of day the black leather stains my toes! I can’t believe these shoes only lasted a month of use! Very disappointed

The perfect shoe you are looking for period.

I purchased a pair almost six years ago.
I still wear daily basis without any problem.
It still looks decent after shining and polishing.
But, there are noticeable wears on the heel.
I will definitely buy again.
These are most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased.
Thanks, SAS!

I like it very much, but the top outside leather’ gets scratched from every small item,
I wonder if this can be made with a better stronger leather as the other Styles?,
I have tried different styles and this one is the best for my aching feet, but as I said I would like a stronger and better outside Leather.
Thanks

Great shoe.

I have a difficult time finding dress shoes that fit. My right foot specifically, needs a wide toe box. That is the only part of my shoe that needs the width. The SAS 10 double wide was the most comfortable shoe that I have tried in a long time. I tried many other brands. Made in the USA is also a bonus.

Replacing a pair I bought and still wear 15 years ago; just a little scuffed up. Got a pair in suede to go with it. Best shoes I ever owned.

If you have a big foot and need a stable footing on the floor…like working in a hospital environment, but not a medical professional then these are the shoe for you. Quality leather upper, sole is a gripping rubber type (non-smear), and the shoe is actually made in America. So no tiny Chinese foot equivalents. Fantastic shoe and worth the price.

My dad wanted some good shoes and heard about this company. He wanted a good shoe that is comfortable. This is a great gift!

Have both casual and dress shoes, covered for any occasion .

I own seven pairs of SAS shoes. The workmanship and materials are excellent.
But I think that design has gone retrograde. In the nineties I bought multiple pairs of SAS Amigos.
Lace up moccasin with unlined leather in front. Unlined leather is most breathable and comfortable.
Offer me leather soled Amigos again and I’ll buy every color you offer.

Perfect dress shoes. One pair black, one pair brown

Great shoe comfortable

I work as a security officer in a corporate setting, so I am on my feet all day. These shoes are versatile because I can wear them with my suit at work and dress them casually with jeans or khaki pants. Also, they are very comfortable after just four shifts at work. The key is to get the right size. My feet are between 12 D/E, so I purchased the 11.5 W. They fit good.

Finding well made, professional-looking shoes that fit my wide Nordic feet have always been a challenge. Not anymore!
I have worn my Ambassadors every day at the office for well over 5 years now, and they are still as comfortable and good looking as the day that I bought them. Regardless if I wear a formal suit and tie, or jeans and a blazer, the neutral and clean styling of these shoes makes them incredibly versatile. Easily one of the best purchases I have ever made.
GuyWhoBoughtSomeShoes –
Bought these to wear with a suit, and wanting to change it up from a hard, leather-soled shoe. Very glad I did. I wear them with jeans as well as my suit. They look pretty good both ways.

Versatile plain-tow Oxford provided you don’t mind a little extra bulk to the look. Lightweight and supportive, and they work well with a dark suit or a nice pair of jeans.
