Constance C –
THIS SHOE RUNS SO SMALL. I COULD NOT GET MY FOOT ALL THE WAY IN MY NORMAL 8 WIDE. PROBABLY COMFORTABLE BUT I CAN’T REALLY RATE.
Chris –
While the style is plain, this shoe is very comfortable and suitable for work or casual wear. Fabric upper is stretchy (but not too much so) keeping the shoe on my foot/heel and not irritating anything! Rounded toe isn’t severe/doesn’t look dorky and heel height provides just enough lift. The insole is removable but the included one has a little arch support and a little bit of cushioning. Very happy with these.

I got these for my 88 year old, still active mother. (Way to go mom!) SAS is her favorite shoe and she has several in her closet. Now however she has foot issues (hammertoes and bunions) an has had to get her current SASes (N) stretched at the cobblers, with only slight improvement in width and comfort. So, I thought we could try the wide to see how that worked out.
She loved the look of the shoe on her foot, as did i. She loved the material and the width was a little better than her current narrowed stretched old shoe however, her heel majorly sliped out of the back, so much so that we have to send them back. Too bad. Back to the drawing board.

Bought these for my 90 year old mother in law. She loved them! This is remarkable because she is super picky about her shoes- prefers SAS lace ups– and she actually used the term “perfect” for these.

Was on the hunt for a closed toe shoe, for cooler days, to wear with leggings and this one fit the bill. Clean and simple with subtle silver-gray piping. Very comfortable as the stretch topside has the right amount of give. A dressier choice than a sandal or clog. Had to reorder a wide as the regular width was a bit too narrow. My reorder was shipped immediately without a second charge on my credit card. I love that Zappos trusts me to send back the wrong size in a timely fashion.

I have terrible feet (bunions and hammertoes on both feet), and this means most cute shoes don’t work for me. I purchased the navy in 7.5W, and the shoes work well given my foot issues. The heel does not slip or rub. The looks are not too bad–I think these will work with shorts and capris, slacks, and casual skirts and dresses. I am considering buying the black for fall.

I have two different size feet, one cockeyed foot, no feeling on the bottom of either foot, and I lack soft cushioning tissue under both feet. With much persistence, after searching in two brick and mortar stores, and on three different shoe web sites, Zappos staff helped me find something I could wear to my only child’s wedding. They shipped and accepted returns for some 12 pair of shoes. I am the proud mother of the groom who will now be wearing the SAS shoes above, in an 8ww, in navy, to match my navy gown. I built up the inside of the shoes for the smaller foot, and left the cushioned innersole that came with the shoe for the opposite foot. The shoes have a bit of stretch to the fabric. They hold the foot with proper support because the sides are firm, not soft and buttery as you see with certain ballet flats. There is an adequate arch support. The innersole is both cushioned and removable. The angle of slant between the forefoot and the wedge heel leaves the foot in a comfortable walking position. It does not force the foot downward, jamming the toes. The front is softly rounded. The shoe is comfortable. A recommended walking shoe.

Beautiful shoe, but runs very narrow.

I found these shoes extremely comfortable. I use othrotics and they fit in without issue. My only issue is with my own feet. One if a half size smaller than the other, so I left the insole that came with the shoe in and added my orthotic too. That caused my heel to slip so I’m now going to try adding an anti-slip pad to the back. Very happy with them & worm the shoes without breaking in all day the first day.
Pat –
I pronate so my foot wobbled too much in this shoe, but I could definitely feel the cushioning in the bottom of the shoe. It felt very nice, but the shoe just didn’t work for me otherwise.
Barbette –
OMG, Not only do they fit, but they seem to be comfortable too.
I usually take a medium width but in these I took a wide because
my right foot is larger than my left, and it worked out perfectly.
I am going to order another pair in black as my first pair was brown.
Hope this review helps.

There is a big difference between the 11 1/2 WW and 11 WW. I just needed a shorter shoe. The width was perfect. The 11 WW is painfully tight.

I bought the SAS Bliss black in size 9.5 AAA. the heels slip off when walking and on stairs even when wearing thick socks. The inner soles should be made of suede leather and not shiny synthetic to prevent feet from sliding down the wedge, and the top back of shoe heels need to be raised and come with a padded collar. Heel cup is too shallow to do this, so a redesign is called for as heel slippage is a common complaint among reviewers.

These fit very nicely – I’m a 7AA. I like them because (1) they’re very comfortable and (2) they’re low profile. I really didn’t want a comfort shoe that also tried to make a fashion statement. I can wear these with slacks, leggings or jeans and they just look neat and unassuming. Sadly, my days of high impact shoes are over!
Dawn –
Really liked the way these looked, but they were supposed to be wide. I wore them around the house for about ten minutes and had to take them off because they were too tight. It’s very frustrating to order a wide shoe and have it turn out not to be wide enough. I’ve had the same problem with other brands, where every shoe they call wide is not wide enough. I have to pay careful attention now to keep track of brands that fit me well.

I had high hopes for this shoe. I have a very small, narrow size 6 foot which is becoming nearly impossible to fit. What used to be a AA is now a AAA since shoes have been upsized in the last decade. I cannot even begin to wear a 6N in the SAS brand. It fits more like a medium. I tried the 6 Slim/AAA in the Bliss but it was not narrow enough in the heel. The shoes were very comfortable but when they slip off your heel as you walk, what’s the point? I returned the Bliss.

Comfortable shoe. I probably could have ‘broken it in’ after a while as its fabric. But toe bed not wide enough for my problem toes.
If it came wider, I think it would be an excellent shoe. Hard to find good looking brown shoes.

Leopard is the very popular and JUST COULD NOT find a pair that fits my wide feet and look good! These are perfect and very pleased with fit considering I have fallen arches- ordered 10.5 wide – thanks SAS!
Megan –
I was so excited to get these shoes after reading all the reviews about how comfortable they are. I just received mine and could not be more disappointed. Yes, I have wide feet but I usually wear a 9 WW and have and wear many shoes in that size. Sometimes I can even wear a regular wide depending on style. I could barely get my foot into this shoe, let alone walk in it. The uppers were stiff and the opening narrow. It was VERY VERY tight and my toes had no room either. If you truly have a wide foot, don’t bother with these.
Lynne –
I love these shoes. They fit right out of the box. I have oddly wide feet. I wear a 12 WW and I’m starting to get a bunion on my right foot. Because these are made of a stretchy but firm fabric, you can’t see the outline of the bunion and they offer great support on the sides. They look good with most things and are ideal for work. Can’t wait until more color selections come back into stock in my size.

Style really sleek and slim. Not clunky. The double wide width was perfect. Finally, a double wide width that fits even though it actually looks a lot more stylish than the other 6 pairs of Zappos I tried!
BUT, the heel fit is very sloppy and my heel completely slips out. Probably should have returned them but am desperate for a double wide that fits!
Zappos! Please stock more DOUBLE WIDE WIDTHS!

I bought this shoe in the leopard print and the black animal print. They are both great looking on my huge, wide, feet.
The leopard pair does not fit as well as the black animal. The black fit like slippers while the leopard are a little tight and problematic.
The black is my favorite pair of shoes I’ve purchased in the last 5 years, and I buy a lot of shoes. Try different colors in this style, as they really
fit differently.

I bought this anticipating that I wouldn’t love them, that they wouldn’t be very comfortable, and that I wouldn’t love the styling. I was wrong on all counts. The shoes are much cuter on my feet that I thought they would be and, importantly, they are very comfortable! They’re just dressy enough that I think I can wear these to the office with ankle pants on days when I don’t need to wear a suit. They’ll also look nice with black jeans (I bought the black color). Oh – and I my feet are an impossible to find 10 1/2 wide – this is what led me to SAS, although I purchased these in a 10 1/2 medium and they fit comfortably. I only get wide for heels.
Connie –
These shoes work well for casual or cocktail events, especially for a “senior” who has a difficult time finding comfortable shoes. They are smart and don’t hurt right out of the box! I am an 8 med and the size is perfect.
Meg –
Great shoe with stretchy navy fabric, thick sole and padding. Comfy for my bunions, hammer-toes and extra-wide feet. Cute profile similar to Crocs but sophisticated for a professional look. Wear them with a skort or shorts now, and with slacks and jeans in the fall.
