Very comfortable and my husband loves them except when you walk in yards (we do a lot with our job) the grooves in sole pick up everything. We will but again just be aware of the grooves in the sole.

My husband is VERY specific in the shoes he is willing to wear. I took a chance on these and he has told me several times he really loves them. I wish they came in more than one color. So hard to find a shoe that is comfortable for him and looks nice. He tried an 11 first but went with the 12 W.

I guess it’s true you get what you pay for. I had to return a pair of shoes that fit my budget better ($80.00) and go with a more expensive pair ($190.00) to get the fit, comfort and anti slip bottom. Thanks

I have a lot of ankle pain (from a minor birth defect in my ankle bones) when I’m on my feet for more than a few hours, insoles weren’t doing it for me, so I decided to splurge on these SAS shoes and I am very impressed. I am not sure what’s different about these, but I have not had ankle pain since getting them. I might have to pick up a pair or two more to let me rotate. Fantastic shoes, very comfortable, and the sizing was perfect.

I work on my feet outside all day. I have been wearing redwing 6705/8705 until they stopped making them. So I tried the redwing postman. After a month of foot, back and hip pain I had to try something different. I discovered SAS online, and after some research ordered the Guardian. I received them today, slipped them on and was immediately sold! These are the most comfortable shoe I have ever wore. Worked all day with out any pain! They feel broke in from the first time you put them on. I will buy SAS from now on!

Other than athletic shoes, these are with out a doubt the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever bought. However, they are also incredibly ugly, and I can’t stand how they look on my feet! The stares and “non-comments” that I’ve gotten from co-workers are rather discouraging as well. I’m returning these and will be buying the Time-Out shoe. I just wish they had the same non-slip soles as these Guardian shoes.

I have big feet and a big man I have worn them for years I use orthotics in my shoes a.nd go a 1/2 size larger. I am on my feet all day long and I have yet to find a better more comfortable long lasting shoe

I recently purchased two additional pairs of these shoes for work after having worn my first pair for over a year. My job requires me to be on my feet all day and these are the most comfortable slip resistant shoes I have ever worn! I have tried other brands but none compare to the comfort and support of SAS shoes. The shoes come in extra wide widths which I need for my crazy feet. Although they are a bit pricey, it is worth every penny when you have to be on your feet all day long. The shoes are as stylish as men’s slip resistant shoes can be, but again, comfort is of utmost importance to me.

My first pair l purchased six years ago and since my foot changed a bit l wore the back tip of to where it was dangerous on wet surfaces. So l just purchase a new pair because the shoe leather and craftsmanship held up

Love SAS — originally purchased at store and was sized then. Typically my unusual size is out of stock in store. online purchase and correct sizing allows me to streamline my shoe buying which is at least once per year. I plan on owning one of every style for my triple wide feet!

The shoe fit true to size. Unfortunately they are very heavy and my tennis shoes have better anti-slip characteristics than these shoes.

This is for my husband who never writes reviews. He’s always had trouble finding shoes in his size (12.5 W) that felt supportive and comfortable. These fit (13W) and the more he wore them the better they felt. I know SAS shoes are pricier than average but the comfort for problem feet is well worth it. My own pair of SAS sandals have lasted 10 years (only wearing them in summer, of course.)

I have been wearing these shoes for a little over a month now. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Wear them to work every day, regardless of weather. We have had some really cold days (5 – 15 F) the past couple of weeks and the shoes have been warm with a regular pair of socks. I walk a little over a mile during lunch and have been very comfortable in the cold, and on not so well cleared sidewalks as well. On flat, polished surfaces the shoe is truly non-slip. Too early to comment on durability.
