I got my first pair of the Marina about a month ago and I really like the cork footbed in these. The cork footbed is a little firmer than the suede footbed. For me that makes them a little more comfortable. I only wish the straps on these were a little longer to better accommodate my high instep and that they made some of the Sanibel with cork footbeds. I have not had the problem that some other reviewers talk about with the cork falling apart.

These are really cute and hug my high arches. I love the adjustable straps for the toe and top of the foot, as some shoes irritate the top of my foot with my high arches. These are comfortable to walk and stand for long periods, and the foot bed is soft without feeling sticky in the heat. The sparkly silver blue is what was in my size, and I love the color.

This is my fifth or sixth pair of Marina sandals. I have them in all colors. They are extremely comfortable and stylish. I have a bad bunion on my right foot and these avoid any pressure against it. I’m nearly 74 and it’s nice to be able to wear cute shoes again.

These sandals are the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever owned! Great arch support and work well for my wide feet. They don’t feel heavy on my foot either like some sandals with large thick soles do. The style and color are super cute too (sparkly blue) and don’t look or feel like old lady sandals.

I “loved” these shoes! They are very comfortable shoes and attractive. Unfortunately, the straps have loosened so much that they are sloppy on my feet. I don’t have any way to tighten them, so alas, my $175 sandals are in the back of the closet. Curious if anyone has had similar trouble with these sandals. Can’t send them back now….

I initially loved these sandals. BUT, the cork footbed is peeling off and now the shoes look awful. I didn’t wear them in the rain or anything. Also, I live in the Northeast, so I really only wear them over a few months during the summer. I’m so disappointed because they are an expensive shoe! The leather and sole are in perfect shape, but the footbed makes them unwearable. I don’t plan to buy SAS shoes again, since the company won’t allow me to return them or exchange them.

I own the Marina T-Strap in several colors and wear them all summer long! They are super comfortable and look great with shorts, capris and summer dresses. I have a more narrow foot and normally wear a 9 1/2 in sandals that size in the Marina is perfect. The footbed cleans up beautifully using the SAS Footbed Cleaner Kit, which I would recommend getting if you’re like me and wear these sandals all the time!

True to size or slightly large for SAS brand. I wear 6.5W in this style. I usually wear 6.5W or 7W in SAS brand.

I love these sandals! Fit is perfect for a size 4. The sole material is soft, shoe is light weight. Dressy enough for island fancy, great as casual wear too. Highly recommend. I would have more colors but only a few are offered in 4.

This would’ve been a very nice, comfortable and pretty shoe — unfortunately the craftsmanship is pretty shoddy. The footbed is faux cork and it was peeling off both sandals right out of the box. It was just a flimsy, thinner-than-paper-thin cork that was glued to the footbed. What a shame.

This is my second pair of SAS Marina T-Straps. They are SO comfortable, and very cute! The first pair is still in great shape, I walked all over Italy in them last year. This time, I purchased another color. Worth every penny for comfort, support, and top-quality materials and construction. Highly recommend.

These are my second pair of SAS t-strap sandals but the first with the heel strap and I love them! I have worn my Sanibek t-strap for 5/6 years and was ready to buy another when I saw the Marina t-strap. From the moment of putting it on, it is now my new favorite.

I love this style so much I have two pairs of them. I worked an event a walked 18,000 steps in them in utter comfort. Everyone else changed their footwear at the end of the event except me because my SAS sandals were still comfy!

I have been wearing “Marina” sandals for more than 10 years, year round. They are very comfortable. I’m happy that the powers-that-be have returned to making more colors available. A gash in one leg once bloodied one of these sandals. Soap, water, brush returned the sandal to its original condition, matching the other sandal perfectly.

I initially LOVED the color of this sandal and purchased them at my Mesa, AZ Factory Store. They were on sale and was told by the store manager that the blue color was being discontinued. I wore them the first time for a few hours, just out to dinner. Second time I wore them to work where I primarily sit all day. On my third time wearing them, the paper thin cork layer began to completely disintegrate. I called the store the next day and was asked to bring them back in (I had only had them two weeks) so the store manager could see them. I loved the comfort factor of them so, I was willing to try another color, without the cork layer. I had to pay the difference from what I originally paid and the cost of another pair. It was only a difference of $10.00 or so. I’ve thoroughly LOVED my new black sandals. SAS skip the cork layer and bring on oodles of bright colors!

I bought and still have this style of sandal and it going strong at 7 years old!!! I bought this color on sale and bought another pair in black. Most comfortable and very supportive arch. Give them a try.

I’ve been wearing SAS shoes for over 20 years. I love this Marina shoe in black because it has the sueded foot pad. However, I purchased the blue with the cork liner and had to return it because the cork lifted after wearing it once.
Bottom line, I learned a lesson, won’t purchase the cork anymore but love the other foot bed.
SAS: Please, please make this shoe in every color with the sueded foot liner! Also would love to see this in yellow, green, and pink!
PS: As someone else stated, the price point of these shoes should allow for free shipping. Your prices have increased drastically over the last 10 years; quality and shipping should be reflected in your price point.
