Suzie –
This shoe is cute and comfortable. The only downside was the sole of this shoe, whether I walked on carpet or hardwood floors, the sole was slippery. So, they had to be returned.
Stasi K –
These shoes are actually cuter “on” than in the pix. This review is for grey size 10.5. The brand runs true to size. I am 10 or 10.5. I wanted larger size so I can use gel pads or wrap my feet.
Pro:
They are comfortable, light, roomy toes, stylish, and versatile enough you could wear them to office or school and then to gym. Made in USA. Finding a comfort shoe that doesn’t look ugly is a challenge. SAS Marnie goes great with skinny jeans or capri pants and you can work them into “business casual” dress code with some imagination.
Con:
The heel is well padded but the padding for the arch and ball is skimpy. If you have metatarsal or bunion or similar issue they are not padded enough in the ball to be a walking shoe. The insole removes so you could add your own orthotic – I think.
My feet got so bad I couldn’t wear ANY shoes … being able to wear these sitting at a desk and running errands without gritting my teeth in pain is a plus. Still searching for more padded walking shoes … but I am grateful to have something nicer than 15 year old ragged paint-spattered keens since every other shoe in my closet feels like chinese foot binding and makes me limp and hobble. I can actually walk in these – short distances anyway.

Wearing these shoes was like walking on pillows. The width was great. Sizing – excellent. Great for all day wear.

Super cute shoes. I was torn between these and another pair I ordered from Zappos, the Cole Haan Grandpro Tennis, for an upcoming European vacation with lots of walking. Although I wear a 10N and these fit great, I preferred the style of the Grandpros (and will just have to wear a cushioned sock since they didn’t come in narrow). These SAS shoes are superb for narrow feet and I did really like these shoes, even though I ultimately didn’t keep them. It was a hard choice and you should really give these shoes a chance! They are cute! If I can think of a reason two have 2 pairs of grey tennis shoes, I’ll order these again!!!

Finally, a shoe that is the same shape as my feet. And so lightweight. If they came in 6 colors – I’d order 6 pairs. Unbelievable fast shipping from Zappos. Thank you so much.w

I wear 9WW and have trouble finding stylish shoes that fit. Munro is my go-to usually. These are just great though! They fit and feel really comfortable. Super-light too. Also don’t make my feet look huge. Came back to buy another pair, but all gone in my size.
Lotta –
These shoes run big. I usually have to choose between 8W and 8.5W. With these, I might need to go down to 7.5W, which is unusual for me. The shoes feel super comfortable, like “I don’t want to take them off” comfortable. The jury is still out on the style…

I have TERRIBLE feet; must use special pads to help with pain. These shoes not only make your feet look small, but they don’t look like orthopedic-type shoes. LOVE ‘EM!

Dealing with plantar fasciitis for the past several months, I’ve been searching for shoes that 1. don’t hurt, 2. are actually comfortable, and 3. aren’t ugly old-lady shoes! NOT an easy task as it turns out. I’d never tried SAS shoes and bought these to be a new casual walking shoe. In for a penny, in for a pound…day #1 I wore them right out of the box and all day…including a 2 mile walk along city sidewalks. Color me HAPPY because my feet actually felt GOOD all day for the first time in months, nor did I have any residual heel pain the next morning. Additionally, these shoes are actually better looking in person…a cute, casual look with either jeans or skirt.

It is very well made, and visibly of exceptionally high quality. The metallic trim is subtle and not “blingy”. Definitely fashionable. Included in the box are two sets of shoe laces, a set of grey fabric, and a set of metallic ones. It is true to size for length, and the wide is roomy, but not too wide. Removable insoles if one wanted to wear socks. Worn by someone 5’4, 110 lbs, with a bad bunion on one foot. The manufacturer, SAS, is a marque worth watching. Definitely recommended.

They are cute and comfortable, but please do something about the sole of your shoes. they are very slippery. I have several pair and have to be very careful. This should be an easy fix; numerous customer have addressed this issue. When you are walking on the streets of Europe slippery is not good.

Thought the shoes were “cute” in particular for someone with a problem foot. Wore them around the house but they did not work for me. Also, found them to have a somewhat slippery sole, not good for a senior citizen who has been known to fall/trip. Even though they did not work for me, they are a really nice shoe, a bi dressier than a sneaker and good color for the spring and summer.

I have TERRIBLE bunions and wide feet! These shoes are great!! Leather is soft, comfortable with no pressure points anywhere! I wish the arch support was a bit better but they are ok. Rarely do I find a shoe I can wear ALL day, errands are now a breeze. I bought a 71/2 W and the width is ample. Often I need a WW but not in this comfy shoe. I have 2 pairs. The black with sparkles is cute and stylish. The tan pair not so much, they look ordinary, which I like at times too. I recommend giving these shoes a try especially if you have painful hard to fit feet.

Perfect shoe, especially for those with wide feet.

Nicely rounded toes for a comfy toe box. However, I ignored the review that the soles are slippery and yep, these are a no go for me. There is no way these would make it through a wet concrete parking garage.

SAS is the best brand I have found for sturdy well made supportive shoes. I wear 12 N. I was looking for such a pair of shoes for all the quarantine walking I am doing. For me, this style is too low beneath the ankle and not solid enough around the foot to meet that need. So I am returning them. SAS is almost the only style I have found to even make 12 N. I checked many brands and most offer only medium and width. So kudos to my lifesaver SAS.
Ann –
I read reviews about the shoe being cut too low around the ankle, but gave them a try because they were so cute. But it felt like the shoes were at risk of slipping off my feet. What a disappointment! I have numerous SAS shoes, and am so happy they have finally started adding style as well as comfort to their shoes. These shoes are so cute, but I they failed in the comfort department. I ended up buying a pair of Keds (who knew they came in a narrow?). No, they’re not so good on the arch support, but for a third the cost, they’re cute enough and will stay on my feet. I hope SAS will take these reviews to heart…

The shoes are cute & comfortable except that the seam across the top was uncomfortable. For that reason, I had to return them
JOANNA –
I really wanted to love these shoes. They are a very cute style but the fit just wasn’t right for me. There’s plenty of horizontal room in the toe box but they squeeze my toes vertically. I didn’t initially notice that problem until I worn them for a couple days. I wish I’d discovered it sooner. If I had, I would have returned them. Now I’m stuck with a $150 pair of shoes that I can’t wear. It’s my fault, though. I should’ve worn them around the house for longer. Lesson learned.
Multi-pair G –
I love these shoes. Have ordered multiple pairs in gris and a black pair. I add insoles and wear them everywhere. They look cute with dresses and with pants. I actually have a more worn pair for yard/garden use, a pair for home/about town, a pair (or two) for work, and a spare pair still in the box. Never stop making these!

I have 2 pairs of SAS marnie shoes in two different colors. As with all SAS shoes (which is all I wear) they are extremely comfortable for my poor feet. I love that they are stylish, well made, and after 3 years of constant summer wear still look great and in very good condition. I get lots of compliments for them.

I have long narrow feet. The 11 narrow is perfect! Sooo cute and comfortable!

Only shoes I’ve found that fit my long, narrow feet! I’ve tried so many shoes and none have been comfortable. These were expensive but worth every penny!
Helen –
I have bunions and need comfortable shoes in wide or extra wide. These shoes come in all widths, have a nice size toe box, and are comfortable. And they’re really cute – I get compliments on them. I have them in two colors and wear them a lot.
Kuching –
I bought these in cedar and they are so cute! I can wear these with pants, a skirt, or a dress, so they are very versatile. They are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I plan to get another pair in a different color. So happy with these!
