I love the style! SAS shoes are so comfortable, especially those of us with planter facetious, but these shoes which were ordered as WIDE were surprisingly NARROW. lengthwise it fitted fine.

Good looking loafer style; soft leather; well-made; good support. Nice little horse’s bit decoration. Wasn’t so enthusiastic about the pearlizing of the bone color but I would have overlooked that if the right heel had not slipped when I walked. It wasn’t much slip, but I knew it would drive me crazy and probably eventually hurt.

Love these loafers. When I first put them on I thought they might be too narrow but I wore them all day long and they were so comfortable I didn’t want to take them off. Not a fancy shoe but attractive and perfect for casual or business casual environments. I have the charcoal nubuck and plan to order another color.

Keep in mind these are leather and quality made. They will fit snug and feel tight because they should as a new shoe. I think people have forgotten that in the "old days’ people had to "break-in" shoes. I have petite bone frame and long narrow feet and heel. I feel that not only have they made the shoe run narrow in the toe box for narrow feet but also have appropriately made the heel cup also more narrow which is appropriate. I am a 9N in the forefoot and generally fee like a slim in the heel but that is because noone ever makes the heels narrow. I got the 9slim. Already the toebox width is breaking in nicely.

Love these loafers. I have two pairs now and they are some of my favorite everyday shoes. I wear a wide shoe and it fits perfectly. Love the cushy feel of the insole and the little buckle on top gives it some style. I just wish it came in navy blue.

I love the look of these shoes in silver. So pretty. But other reviewers are right. It runs really narrow. Ordered the M but too tight. Will return and hope the wide fits as I love the shoe. Hope SAS reads these reviews so they can correct the sizing.

This is a comfortable shoe and would be even better but for the foam removable liner. It sticks to your feet if you are not wearing socks and feels clingy even with socks.

This shoe is SO much trendier and high end looking than the pics! Hardware detail proportioned well, moc style not as dowdy as I was expecting, and snake print is beautiful (with just enough stretch). I wear an 8 med in all Merrell shoes and I’ve learned that my SAS shoes need to be an 8.5. True to SAS design, this shoe is too wide in the heel, but easiy to fix with heel inserts. The toe box is not nearly as round/wide to be comfy doing laps around the hospital every day at work. Only reason these got returned was because I already own (and adore) my SAS “Bliss” in Black Leopard, which offers more cushioning than the flat Metro.

Kinda blah looking but I knew that, was looking for the support/padding which is better than average. Be aware as other postings have said, this shoe runs REALLY narrow. I have never purchased a wide shoe in my entire life (43yo) and had to purchase a WW, even the W was just a touch pinchy where the silver buckle part is. I kept them because I needed comfortable black flats pretty bad. In a perfect world they would be more stylish with a bit more support/padding.

I have worn SAS shoes for over 35 years. As a hair stylist, I am on my feet at least 10 hours a day. The black patent leather metallic bounce is very stylish and water proof. I am in love with SAS shoes all over again!!

I have some really difficult feet to fit. My size ranges anywhere from a 10W to an 11WW depending on the brand. I usually find the most luck with 10.5W or WW but that’s a difficult size to find (thanks Zappos for carrying so many options!) – especially for something stylish AND comfortable. I bought three pairs of SAS shoes to try: Easy, Bounce, and Metro (this pair). This was the winner! Not only did they feel great (admittedly a bit of rubbing on my heel, but that was AFTER wearing them all day out of the box – I honestly think this will get better with wear), but they actually have arch support. I’m 39 years old and relatively trendy, I work in a corporate setting and like to look put together and professional. These looked borderline “old lady” (sorry) but the reviews were so good that I wanted to try them. Turns out they really fit in perfectly with current trends and they work as kind of a “chunky loafer” – I love the metal detail and they look great with a pair of nice jeans or dressier pants. I have a big conference coming up in a month and I already know these are going to be the shoes I wear the whole time. I’m so happy I finally found a pair that works – these are the keepers!

I have been wearing this particular shoe for a long time. I love that it is a slip-on and the comfort of this shoe is amazing! I can walk and walk and my feet always stay comfortable. The fit is great too! When I order my size it is always “just right”! Thank you SAS for still making this shoe!

These are beautiful and stylish shoes. I have nothing critical to say about the quality of the Metro Slip On Loafer. I ordered these shoes from the SAS Online Website in the 6 1/2 M size I always wear. When they arrived by mail, I tried them on and felt that the top front part of the shoe, where the decorative metal bar is attached, fits too snugly around the upper part of my feet. Therefore, I will need a larger size or a different style of loafer. Except for the tight fit, I would’ve kept the shoes, but I know that walking in too tight shoes will become very uncomfortable.

These are the most comfortable shoes! I need arch support so inserted my own custom orthotics. Game changer! I use one pair as my indoor shoes and the other for outside. Plus they look classy!
