Beautiful high quality shoe, would be very comfortable except for the sole design. Not only is there no gap between heel and ball, the sole is actually convex with a high spot there! It makes walking totally weird. Try another SAS shoe instead.

I have just purchased the Move-on in black and I was speechless at the comfort!! I definitely do not agree with the other review I read on here and that was my only reason to leave my own. I have worn the SAS Bout Times for over ten years. My wife asked me to try something different. I read about the technology in these shoes and I have to say that I love it. This is a walking experience that I have never had before. The lady at the store told me that it helps to actually propel you. She called it a rocker sole. I am blown away and love it. Ordering the brown now from Zappos.

Very comfortable shoe, although only 2 weeks wearing them. I bought WW, and they fit very well. Normally wear Wide in Keen and 4E in New Balance. SAS styling much better suited to slacks and khakis than athletic shoes.
Rocker sole is not my usual style, but are comfortable, even with little experience. We’ll see if this changes after a few months.

This shoe, as you can see in the picture has raised front, which makes the shoes more comfortable for walking for long periods of time. The shoe is not very light but thats part of its durability

This is a quality shoe with a fit that is designed to be healthy for your feet. I enjoy walking in them due to the extreme comfort of the shoe. On top of all this the customer service at Zappos’s is second to none!

One of my favorite shoes. Exceptionally comfortable with great arch support and a wide toe box. The shoe requires no break in and has a great heel lock to it. It looks sharp in Camel but the Black has a orthopedic fast food worker vibe. Wish the black had a smoother leather or even a suede.

Wow. So I bought these to be used mainly as a smart casual shoe. An evening with kakis and a sports coat shoes while on our cruise was the plan.
Long story short our cruise had to be changed last minute to Disney world. I mean we were already in Florida last minute so I did not pack walking shoes. After an entire day on my feet and miles of walking and these are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn at Disney.
Great cushioning and support and most importantly so much toe room. The heel sits low and doesn’t rub. There are zero friction points on this shoe. Just fantastic.

My husband is very pleased! Most comfortable and the style looks improved over previous pair!

Smart looking on, not like diabetic styles but as comfortable. Toe width provides lots of room, flexible and easy walking. Leather is nice, would consider this a style that is not total sport or total dress, a nice midway shoes that looks good with slacks or jeans or shorts.

I hope you don’t get diabetes, but if you do, you will become a HUGE fan of SAS shoes. This also applies if you only have a hard to find shoe size. You will love these shoes. I do, and I’m somewhat of a cranky, old, size 11 and a 1/2, double wide, fuss-budget.
So, do what you want. And I promise you, either way, you will get what you deserve.

Well made shoes. Pricey but appreciated after wearing.

I ordered SAS move on shoes, the size is exact and the fit/comfort out of the box is excellent. After wearing the shoes I won’t be using my others for much, these are just built to take care of your feet when your on them all day. I don’t have diabetes or foot problems , I wanted a shoe that helps my bodying save needless wear, these fit that bill. Yes there are less expensive out there but theres no guessing when you get these, well worth the cost.

Right out of the box comfortable. Two days breakin and they will be molded to my feet. High quality leather, supple, which allows them to quickly conform to the shape of your instep. Took me three tries with other shoes, one from this company, to find this model. I might just go ahead an order another pair and put them on the closet shelf. Brown is really attractive. I’m normally a 9, but from previous SAS shoe lasts, I went down to an 8 1/2. Just right. Toe box gives plenty of room. And I have a narrow heel – these do NOT slip at this size. Yup, near $200 is pricey for casuals. But in this case, I think you get exactly what you pay for.

I have neuromas (both feet), and very high arches. I wear custom orthotics in all of my shoes.
Please read my review with a grain of salt.
This may be an excellent shoe choice for you, it wasn’t for me.
It looks quite decent, and was hoping it would work for me.
What I didn’t like – the fact that the heel/toe drop is very high- about 12 mm. That doesn’t work for me.
I found that the “Time out” model – stack height of about 6 mm- feels a lot better to me.
Give both a try, and decide for yourself…

The sole is more of a rocker-type, which, if you are a heavy individual, will not be all that comfortable, even somewhat rigid. I only learned this after finding that SAS Shoes are hand-made and have at least two kinds of soles the one mentioned and one that gives more. Not Zappos, SAS Shoes, or Brown Shoe Fit reps that I spoke with knew this. It took a phone call to a shoe store that sells SAS 100mi away to clarify this.

Have been searching for six months for replacement shoes for my messed-up, 80 years old feet. Countless shoes ordered and returned. I put these on and immediately knew that they would work. Thank you. Wide toe box, super padding, and comfort to the max.

The quality of these shoes are excellent. Being made in Texas, they are using the correct shoe lasts for US size shoes, hence they fit correctly. They also paid attention to detail when assembling them. The result is a high quality pair of shoes — not the junk you get from China or Vietnam if you go into a shoe store. Glad I found SAS, and Zappos was a great e-retailer to purchase them from.

I love the quality and durability. This is my fifth pair of SAS shoes.
Due to the pandemic I had to order online. In that regard significant improvement should be made in counseling re fit of the various models. Three emails provided absolutely no help. I finally phoned and the young lady to whom I spoke answered my questions flawlessly to the best of her ability. It would be great to have that same competence online. The sense I received from email response was “sorry, buy elsewhere.” If I had not already experienced such fine shoes I would undoubtedly have “bought elsewhere.”

They fit and feel comfortable all day long!

I’ve used Bout Time and Time Out, both really good, but Move On is the best of the three. Built wide from the beginning, good styling, very comfortable fits my feet perfectly. Best shoe I’ve ever worn and I’m 74. Lasts for years even everyday wear. Easy to care for, doesn’t scuff easily. Highly recommend it. Getting ready to order another pair as my current pair finally are beginning to wear out.

true to size, high quality leather, heel narrow enough to prevent slippage

Perfect! No longer have pain when I walk.
Maxim –
Very much impressed with these shoes.
Soft leather, robust sole, feel very comfortable. And presusely to the size!
I normaly wear 8.5, but depending on the make and even model it could be anything betweel 8 and 9.5. These fit perfectly.
Can’t tell how durable they are, but hope for the best.

Very satisfied with the quality and comfort
