Laura –
Love these shoes!
I finally found a pair of tennis shoes that do NOT have that “chunky “ sole!!
Shoes are very comfortable.
Thanks to SAS for making such a great shoe!!
SL –
Only complaint is that eyelet holes leave a black stain on the white shoelaces. Shoes feel like cozy slippers.

Cute and so comfy right out of the box. Haven’t worn them for long yet, but I think I’m in love. Maybe run a tiny bit wide, but not dangerously so. I wanted a casual summer shoe alternative to sandals that wasn’t as clunky as a walking shoe and these fit the bill.

These shoes are so comfortable and look great. Unfortunately, even though I wear a medium in all shoes, the medium in this shoe was too wide. There was not a narrow available in my size in black. Sadly, they were returned.

Wonderfully soft and cute but they have no support whatsoever — NONE — ZERO. If your only requirement is a sneaker that’s super soft underfoot, then this shoe is for you. As cute and as soft as these SAS sneakers are, I had to return them because I need a shoe with some support.

Love the shoe, but it really cut into the side of my foot around the lace holes. Had to return
Molly –
Very uncomfortable shoe. The leather is stiff and the shoe is nothing like what you expect from SAS. The inside of the shoe is very hard and the removable insole has no arch support. I purchased a double wide and its not even wide. Look elsewhere if you’re looking for a soft and wide shoe.

Just went on a 2 mile walk by the river on a concrete paved path – these shoes felt great. They’re wide enough – no pinching anywhere. They’re not supportive enough for a long or rigorous hike, but are great for casual wear and strolling after lunch.

I love SAS shoes because I have bunions (alas). They make shoes in wide widths, and they are cool, and fashionable, and super comfortable! I might get more than one of these, in different colors, because I like them so much.

i love love this shoe i tried it on and did not take it off all day wore to the dr today felt like a glove and got alot of compliments it is fashionable and comfortable if u want a comfy shoe for the spring this is it rita

Looks wonderful of the foot and is very light and comfortable. I will buy even more pairs if they are made in colors more interesting than the beige.

I have worn SAS shoes for over 35 years. As a hair stylist, I am on my feet at least 10 hours a day. The black patent leather metallic bounce is very stylish and water proof. I am in love with SAS shoes all over again!!

I like the fun sporty look of this shoe. My foot doctor wants me in a flexible shoe and this fits the bill. When I am walking I feel more secure than in a stiff soled heavy shoe. I bought the white in a 10 Slim and the heel does not slip. A really rare experience for a 4A foot. I would have bought the taupe also but I think SAS made a mistake in not putting in a more decorative lace on the taupe. The 2 beige colors don’t match. I didn’t feel like spending time to find laces for the taupe so I passed on them. Needs a smarter gold and beige patterned lace and the taupe would be perfect. So pleased to see SAS making a younger looking shoe. I refuse to graduate to the geriatric models.

These do have a soft sole and probably not intended for high impact aerobics or running but so cute with jeans or leggings. The leather is beautiful so I added a thin insole for a little arch support and they are perfect, I’m buying them in taupe too.

Thanks SAS and Zappos for giving options to us folks with narrow feet! A great casual sneaker. I tried both 8.5S and 9S since I sometimes need a 9 in sneakers. The 9S was definitely a better fit. The arch support is just ok, so I added my own. I got the black and they are really cute, well made (in USA) and very comfortable. The leather is soft, and the insole and outsole are well cushioned. It’s nice to find a casual leather sneaker that doesn’t look athletic or orthopedic!

Considering the price, these are the worst shoes ever. I walked 1/2 mile in them, and felt like I was walking on concrete in my bare feet. There is no cushion in the sole and the arch is minimal!

These shoes are very pretty and fashionable I ordered a 10 narrow… Could not wear
them due to being too narrow on the outside of my foot… little toes. I re-ordered in a 10 medium and they are still rubbng my little toes but not as much.

Love these shoes. I have them in three colors and would buy more if there were other colors. I wear a slim width and it’s difficult to find both comfort and style in this width. The soft leather conforms to the foot making them very comfortable. Lots of compliments.

I wanted a classic simple white sneaker and love the elegance of this one and the great
design of a blacksole that sneaks up the heal to become a stripe. It is my first purchase
from SAS which was my mother’s favorite brand for comfort and fit. And this sneaker
actually wins on all counts including style.
Gram –
Loved the shoe but the heel was too wide for my 6A heel and I reluctantly returned them. Fortunately SAS does have a few styles that work for me and I have worn them for many years. I would have been very, very happy if this shoe had worked for me.
RosieQ –
The upper leather on the SAS Solstice II is very soft leather, they fit and feel wonderful. Problem is there is No Arch support, and the sole is really very thin. If these had a lot more arch support and the typical SAS Tri-pad Cushion and SAS sole, they would be perfect. Sorry had to return. Thank you, Zappos for your great customer service!

The fit and size are good but I am so glad I purchased the white version before I bought the black or I would have never tried another pair. The black, while just as comfortable as the white, look like referee shoes and that is not what I was after.
Anonymous –
Love the look, but the insole has absolutely no support. The eyelets turn the laces black. I should have returned them right away. I’m going to getting new insoles and see if that helps. Otherwise don’t waste your money.
Pen –
I use this shoe as an everyday shoe. It is light on my feet and very comfortable. The pair I am replacing is two years old and don’t show a lot of wear on them and will continue to wear them also.

extremely comfortable while being supportive. better looking than a sport sneaker
