I find this brand the best for comfort and especially this style. The color is neutral and more flexible than the white. I like the wide variations offered in widths, unlike most athletic shoes

After wearing many different pairs of “cute” sneakers, I decided I needed a more standard style for everyday comfort, and these shoes delivered. On a normal day I walk between 4 and 8 miles, and these have great cushioning and support. Due to my need for a high toe box, I usually buy a half size larger than my true size, but SAS runs a wee bit larger than some other brands, so the size does seem “true.” Very happy with these shoes!

This is a great looking shoe that felt wonderful right out of the box! Nice roomy toe box. For my very hard to fit feet, I was thrilled. Until I walked across the room. The shoe felt OK but my lower spine and hips were in agony. I am sad this shoe isn’t good for me because it looks great and feels super, as long as I don’t stand up. Back they go.

I love SAS shoes!
I have feet that are crippled with arthritis, bunions, and toes that have crossed over each other. While awaiting surgery, this is the only shoe that I can wear.

Wore these around the house for quite a while before deciding to keep them. My right foot needs a wide toe box and these shoes provide this in W. Some minor issue with the heel, as by comparison my are narrower, but find the shoe quite comfortable and looks so much better than a sneaker particularly for a senior citizen.

I love these shoes! I have planter fascitis, heal spurs and the balls of my feet hurt. I’ve worn custom orthotics for years. On a recent trip to New York I averaged 12 miles a day walking – these were the only shoes that would get me through the day! I wear a size 6 sandal – a 7 in these was perfect – lots of room for the toes.

These are the only shoes I can wear, with my problem feet. I find they are true to size in a WW width. The toe box is wide enough for my bunion, deep enough for my hammer toe. They are a good fit and comfortable, made of quality material. I especially like the way the laces slide right through the eye grommets, making them easy to tie. If they made these in a darker color for women, I would buy another pair. I already have the suede ones in Dust, which look a little nicer, but are harder to keep clean. Just waiting for more colors!

I decided to keep these shoes even though I started the return process! Not sure how to let you know. I had a previous pair that I bought at a SAS store but it was the wrong size for me. These have worked out great and I may be ready for a new pair because I have worn them so much. I had to get Rx orthotics in early 2016 for a bunion issue and my feet also supernate. These have been one of the few shoes I have NOT had to return. Thank you Zappos for carrying SAS shoes!

I have high arches but these lacked appropriate arch support for my feet, so these had to go back. Also have wide feet and these wide shoes were very accommodating for width. Footbed for me was molded in an unusual way and so they did not feel that comfortable, combined with lacking enough arch support.

I thought these ran large. I have to fit an orthotic in one shoe and the shoe was way too long. Otherwise very comfortable and will order one size down.

The Tour Mesh ran a full size too long. I used to be able to order the 10 1/2 AAA and they fit. I ordered a 10 AAA because the last pair of SAS ran an 1/2 size too long, so I figured I would be ahead by ordering a 10AAA. But they are going back because I could put a finger in the heel and still have room for my toes! The shoes are going back and I will have to figure out if I want to reorder them in a 9 1/2 or not. Not happy with SAS changing the length of their shoes!

This shoe looks great and when you know it is approved as medicare/diabetic athletic shoe, it makes the shoe even more phenomenal. These shoes do not shriek orthotic shoes. Clearly they aren’t trend setters either, but you will be able to walk pain free in these shoes. I got them for a trip to the UK, and I know I will be walking, walking and more walking on lots of concrete streets so I know I will need support.

I have flat wide feet w bunions and these fit really well. High quality construction, provide good support, seem to have enough stiffness to keep my feet in the proper position. I think I will be able to wear them all day. The style is pretty cute.

Bunions and hammer toes, and old tired feet feel like they could walk miles in these exceptionally supportive and comfortable shoes. I am so sold on these shoes.

Great value and quality for the price. I wore Rockport shoes for many years until I tried a pair of SAS. Like the fact there U.S. made. These shoes tend to run wider. If you are a B width (medium), I would purchase a AA (narrow) width. I wish SAS would do more colors for the Tour Mesh line. I already own 3 pairs.

For a shoe labeled “slim,” I expected a snug fit in the heel. However, no matter how tightly I tied the shoes, my heel was not secure.

Tour mesh is the best fit for my long, thin(9AAA)feet. I wish I could fit in all SAS shoes but at least I have Tour Mesh. Any chance, they could add more color combinations??

I have been looking for a sneaker like this for a long time – I need lots of padding to walk on as I have very little of my own and it’s light weight . I wore them all day today and it was wonderful. SAS has a new customer.

This shoe was also very loose in the heel for me. The only style that I’ve found that fits me better in the heel is the Tour Mesh LT, which unfortunately only comes in two colors and aren’t the best choices in my opinion. I have them both since my arthritic feet are so painful and they feel pretty good, but wish they had better colors in the Tour Mesh LT.

I am so happy with these shoes! I wanted black shoes that would fit my 10.5 narrow feet without looking too dorky. Normally, I wear size 11 in athletic shoes, but all of the previous reviews said that these run long, so I ordered 10.5 N, and they’re perfect. My orthotics fit these shoes well, and I’ve never had more comfortable (with the orthotics) shoes. It’s a nice touch that they include extra shoelaces, and also that the shoelaces are not extremely long, but rather are just the right length. These are my first SAS shoes, and I’ll be trying them again.

Size 7 WW was too wide and too big. Ordered a 6.5 WW, but it was too small, but width ok. Way too expensive, so just as well.

Not quite the right foot shape for me: I had high hopes for these shoes as they came in triple wide. They do have a nice and stable fit. However, although the overall toe box is large and fairly deep, the shoe shape is cut rather straight, from heel to toe, on the inseam side. Most of the width at the ball of the foot goes toward the outer edge of the shoe. Therefore, the toe box of the shoe pressed firmly against the side of my big toes causing them to feel a little numb after my walk. Sadly, they’re going back.

I really wanted these to work, but the toe box felt slightly narrow and cramped my little toe. I need a shoe with wider toe box but narrow heel that will support my darken arch. This shoe felt very supportive and comfortable and I suspect that the leather area may eventually stretch enough to give my toes somw wiggle room, but at this price I’m not willing to take the chance. Back they go.

True to size and width 10w. Good arch support. Roomy toe box. I purchased 2 years ago for walking, errands and they still look nice and feel great. I returned about 10 different brands of running/walking shoes from another online retailer before buying these. NowI only buy SAS. They hold their value and wear well. I walk about 7 plus miles a week in these. I sometimes wear without socks and they are still comfortable walking in and no oder from being sockless. Will buy again when my current pair wears out or looks worn. No bunions or back problems, just a wide foot with high arches. Good arch support if you have high arches. Looks good with jeans and shorts. Not orthopedic looking, look like other types athletic shoes asics, brooks, etc but higher quality, fit better, better arch supports, longer lasting, better everything. I’m a 10w is other shoes and 10w in other SAS shoes and wore a 10w in these also. I bought the navy blue. Washed them once and air dried with no harm done. I’m thrifty and SAS holds value, looks and performs better for longer.

Love SAS shoes! Love that they provide an additional color of complimentary flat laces!
Somewhat expensive for me, but as an older soul, my body needs these good shoes. Love that they are made in the great USA!
