This is the ideal shoe for heavier runners because they are so well built. The midsole is firm and reactive. Typically, I find running shoes to be too soft in the soles including the Endorphin Speeds and Pros. If you want a firm, responsive, and stable shoe that will last, the Shift is the answer.
I have not ran much in the Shift 3 yet, but first impressions indicate that it has only improved on the Shift 2. The fit is exactly the same as the Shift 2, as well. I put 350+ miles on my Endorphin Shift 2s including my first two marathons. My body weight started at 240 lbs and has since dropped to 215. The shoes still have a lot of miles left in them and plenty of support remaining. The upper is in perfect shape and there’s still rubber on the soles.
The Saucony Endorphin Shift is simply the most durable and supportive shoe I have ever owned.

The Shift 3 is awesome. The added heal support is great BUT it does cause the shoe to fit just a little bit snugger. You may want to order up a 1/2 size.

These are the best running shoes I have ever owned. True to size, comfortable, and is snug to the foot so I have no slippage.

I bought this pair 2 weeks ago and have been wearing them every day! Excellent support and super comfortable to wear all day long. Buying another pair!
Andrea –
I love this style. They are great of of the box for running. And I bought another pair to keep clean for travel and the gym. Nothing makes my persnickety feet (bunions and narrow heel), as well as my lower back, happier.

Love them

These are my perfect shoe. They cradle my heel, they’re cushiony yet supportive enough to wear for long hours. I need a sturdy shoe for overpronation and these are the ONES! Plush cushion enough for ultra comfort yet they don’t make my knee/ankles out of alignment. My feet need super supportive shoes or my gait tends to skew so these are perfect for me, while being pretty plush and comfortable. I will definitely repurchase when needed.

Wore Brooks for years. Unhappy with the Brooks Glycerin 20. First pair of Saucony’s and I’m in love! Best shoe ever!!!

I’m so loyal to the Endorphin shifts, and they never disappoint. Lots of cushioning but feel very stable even on a dirt road.

felt weird at first at the heel, then realized oh this is what’s been missing in my life

I became a Saucony Endorphin fan in 2022 and I’m hooked. I have Speed 2, Pro 2 & 3 plus Shift 1, 2 & 3 and rotate them all. My 1st run with these VIZIPRO Endorphin Shift 3 was 8 miles and I didn’t need to break them in. They felt comfortable when I 1st put them on, while on my run and upon returning. they have more cushioning that the 1st two Shifts. My regular shoe size is 7 and all my Sauconys are size 8.5. I do on average 40+ weekly miles and run ~ 3-4 marathons per year. If you are looking for comfort, I highly recommend these VIZIPRO Endorphin Shift 3.

Absolutely loved everything about these shoes; foot bed, style. I think they are gorgeous. Problem is with my feet which have a tendency to roll outward. Was afraid I might twist my ankle.

The fit is great. They were comfortable right out of the box. I feel like I’m walking on air.

First pair of Saucony’s and I am HAPPY with this exact pair. I’m not a runner anymore but needed support and comfort. These shoes are that and more! My heel stays deep in the shoe without lift and the support I need is there as well. I have a wider foot with the start of a bunion and bought the regular width shoe and found the toe box the tiniest bit snug on one foot (which is normal) but did a stretcher for my one shoe for a few hours and it was perfect! Wore these at Disney for almost 21,000 steps!! Seriously the best and I love how stylish and super cool they look too. Just for reference I’m 5’8″ 160lbs and got my normal 8.5 which was great.

Let me say I love this shoe! The Heel to Toe drop is perfect for me and the cushion is as well!! They are softer than the previous version and wider in my opinion. Both great attributes for this shoe! I have purchased 4 colors already and as someone else has stated I find each shoe fits differently. Some feel longer and some feel wider. Not sure what the issue may be in the manufacturing and I also am not fond of the different shoe laces for each shoe. Some are the nice stretchy lace and others are not and are a little on the short side causing me to have to go out and buy new laces. 1 more thing I would like to see is an all black version of this shoe for women. I wear some of these for work and some are for the gym. The black and white version gets a little old and I just prefer a black sole. Overall this is a great shoe. After 8 hrs on my feet on concrete flooring they don’t hurt at the end of the day! The slight stability is a big help as well on a previous fractured ankle and a prior Morton’s Neuroma welcomes the added cushion!

I really like these shoes, which help to decrease the impact on joints when walking or standing for long periods of time. They are perfect for my volunteering position at a local hospital.

Very comfortable, love them

The shoes are more comfortable than most others that I have tried, although I found them to run a bit small. I have consistently worn a 7.5 shoe. I considered swapping them out for an 8, but kept them and will use with thinner socks. I suggest that you order your usual size and another pair a half size up for comparison. I am 67, very active and using them for pavement walking and errand days where I’m on my feet for some time.

Ok, I’m no runner, but I really wanted super comfortable sneakers for walking and riding my bike. These sneakers are Phenomenal! I’m so anxious when I buy online because I really have to try on and check for comfort. These are the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever put on my feet! Do not hesitate ~ these are worth every penny! I took them out of the box, slipped them on, laced them up, and WooHoo! I did not want to take them off!
True to size ~ although I always 1/2 size up. Fabric is great and sneaker is ultralight. Love the height, comfort, and fashion! Thrilled! Purchasing in black, next!
Sarah –
These are awesome so far. I usually need a wide shoe because of the toe box. These have plenty of room in the toes in the regular width. They’re a nice blend of bounce and squish.

Very comfortable. Best design from Saucony in 20 years. I used to be loyal to this brand. But quality went down and I switched to ASICS. When toe box narrowed on ASICS I revisited this new line from Saucony, and so far very happy with design, comfort, support, and cushioning.

I took the recommendation to order a half size up. The sneakers were too big so I have started a return ordering my usual size .
I compared these sneakers with the HOka Bondi 8. . Both are very comfortable . The Hoka Bondi offers a wider base .
I don’t feel a difference between the two brands.

I bought these a month ago.
The arches are awesome, but the side and the toe box are like mushrooms, no support at all!
I need side support and arch support both.
Have had complete lower back and complete knee surgery.
I cannot wear these as they do not have enough side support which alters my stability!

I had the shift V1. And enjoyed it, but thought it was a bit firm..especially for long runs. The v3 is so much better. I ordered a 9wide which is TTS. Love the all white. I put 2 short 3 mile runs in. And wore them the entire weekend visiting Chicago..walking around a ton. Very comfortable…now I will just use for runs now that I’ve walked in them a bit.
