My son is 5 years old. I believe some of his foot issues are sensory related, but we’ve also visited a podiatrist to see what was up. Flat, wide foot with curly toes! No complaints from him with these shoes! #momwin loves to run and so far seem to be durable.

My son was sizing out of his size 13 shoes so we ordered him a size 1. He couldn’t even get his foot in the size 1. The exchange was awesome, so props to Saucony – we went another full size up and he has a hair’s breadth of room to grow. Also they run narrow. My son’s feet are not wide and he says they feel very snug, though not painful.

These are an up sized replacement of a pair my daughter has had and out grown. The last pair has worn like cast iron. I hope the same for these as she is hard on the toes of shoes.

I bought these shoes 5 months ago in the wide size for my very active, sensory sensitive child and they are great. Most shoes are a challenge for us – too high of heel tab, too tight here, too loose there. We bought 6 different brands of shoes and these were head and shoulders above the crowd of Nike, ASICS, NB, etc. My child is part of a track running club and likes to hike and they’ve done it all in these with a smile on their face, and love that they can put the shoes on by themselves. The sole of ours hasn’t had any of the peeling away you see in the pictures below
Only downside is the velcro strap only has the “teeth” at the end of the strap. My child has low-volume feet and likes to really cinch the velcro strap down so the velcro only attaches by a half inch or so. I expected it to start to fail by now but it has held up well.

I tend to buy Saucony for my little kids, they are comfy and hold up to heavy wear. These look and feel great, but my 5 year old has a hard time getting them on herself. The sides are a little softer than we are used to. I’ve been buying the flash glow light up sneakers (have probably bought 4 pairs as she sized up) and those are a little stiffer overall and I realize easier to get her foot into by herself. I ordered a 12 for my 5 year old.

Fit was small, other size 12 shoes fit my girl perfect or even slightly big, these were too small and pinched her little toes. The quality of the shoe was good, just need to size up.

Really cute shoes. My five year old loves them, but they run very small and narrow for her. I ordered a size and a half up and went with wide instead of medium width.
