I had been purchasing the fabulous Saucony Grid Omni Walker since 2014. They were my go to ultimate supportive high quality walking shoes. Unfortunately I cannot find them anymore which is very disappointing for my little flat feet. So I purchased the Omni Walker 3 in hopes they were the updated version of the Grid. Nope, not at all…these shoes actually cause increased pronation plus they smack the walking surface…horrible for my flat feet. So I am trying 2 Hoka One One models which are supposed to help pronation. Thanks Zappos…you guys are great!

So far I am pleased, with fit, and style.

The toe box was too pointy

I was replacing the Omni Walker 8W (I have had three pairs), and if possible, the new pair actually felt MORE NARROW than the previous versions, so it was borderline painful – I usually let a little tightness go initially, as my feet are wide, and the shoes will stretch. Tried the Echelon Walker 8W as a replacement – very cushy, and the rounder toe fit my wide fore foot well. The Echelon does not have as deep a heel cup, so it doesn’t feel as secure in the heel to me. Also less of a drop (8mm v 12mm in the Omni) so feels flatter. Going to try a different brand with a narrow heel but wide fore foot. NOTE: Echelon is on the left in photo below, Omni is on right.

I have been wearing a 10.5 for many years due to needing extra width in the toe box because of bunions, hammer toes and arthritis issues. However these were too long and no arch support. Had to return. Still trying to find a replacement that fit as well as Saucony Grid Omni Walker that has been sadly discontinued.

I used to wear a 7 1/2 MEDIUM, but when I ordered those, the toe box was too pointy, so I tried the 7 1/2 WIDE, which had a wider toe box and fit perfectly. I wear custom orthotics, so I can’t evaluate arch support because I don’t have arch support issues. The shoes do ‘smack’ when they hit the ground, but that subsided once I wore them for about 3 weeks. The sole is not the same as the 7 1/2 Medium. The wide seems to have a firmer/sturdier sole and are not wearing down as quickly as the 7 1/2 medium. The wide looks different and feels different than the Medium, almost like they redisgned the entire shoe.

Cheap version of the Omni Walker. Why did they discontinue that shoe? I had been purchasing that for years because of its snug supportive fit. Now this version 3 is wider and doesn’t have the overall support that the Onmi Walker had. Please bring the Onmi Walker back.

I love this shoe I suffer of plantar fasciitis and it’s been difficult trying to find the perfect shoe to wear. This have been the most comfortable shoe to wear throughout the day without my feet being in pain. I will definitely purchase again!!

My best favorite walking shoes. Light, a little taller that average shoes, which helps with great support for back, knees, ankles. I have 3 pairs now of 2 different colors. I hope they don’t discontinue those. I wear medium, and it fits really well.

Going to order my second pair – can walk the length of a mall and back without having to sit and let my feet recover

I recently bruised the heel of my foot and have been staying off it and icing it. Just wasn’t helping any for walking, and dogs don’t understand if you’re lame and want to taken out for walkies. These shoes are fabulous, feel like I’m walking on cushion clouds. Heel began to get better, and hoping soon to get back to golfing and giving those beasties walkies.

I am happy I found a pair of sneakers not made of weak mesh fabric. I love wearing sneakers that have been of all soft leather,
is easy on my feet and it feels like I have all the right support all over my problem feet.
If you have foot lymphedema & arch support issues & can find the right pair of insoles to insert in these sneakers I promise your feet will thank you for a good fitting pair of shoes.

Always get the OMNI Walker. They are the only sneakers that I feel comfortable in. I wear orthotics so it’s important for my sneakers to fit well

The and comfort of the omni line as taken a dive and I can no longer just purchase my old favorites as I’ve done for years. After trying (and trying!) a number of other styles, I am keeping the wider width out of desperation for a new pair of shoes.

Great shoe. My feet hurt a lot when I stand or walk a lot and these really help. They are my go-to shoe for a long day on my feet. The material is easy to wipe clean keeping them white all the time.

OMG…..I use to get off work from 9 to 12 hour shifts on my feet and my right heel would be aching so bad I wanted to just sit down and cry. I have worked for over 30 years on my feet, as well as when I walk I strike hard on my heels. I have purchased many different orthopedic shoes trying to relieve the pain and none worked……until I tried the Omni Walker 3…just after 3 days of walking in them I can say ….AMAZING no more heel pain.
I will be purchasing a couple more pairs just to have in my closet should I ever need to replace the ones I am wearing now.

I have worn this brand before, but always in a running shoe. These are great – gives me more room than I am use to. I wear orthotics, so the arch support is fine. These walkers are very comfortable and easy to get on and off. I only wish they came in more colors.

Although they felt a bit bigger at first, in the end I like the fit. I wear with an orthotic so I have plenty of room. Which they came in colors other then black and white.

These tennis shoes are great for when I walk my dog and play pickle ball. Style is average. They are white and supportive. I got exactly what I was looking for.

I suffer of plantar fasciitis, hadn’t find shoes that can use without my orthotics, I received this, on September 15th, 22, since then i been using them everyday when not using my work boots. No more pain at the end of the day even when I spend the day walking.

I have Plantar Fasciitis and these shoes help me not be in pain. My foot doctor suggested I purchase them years ago and I have been buying them ever since. I do not run but wear for walking and everyday wear at work on outside of work.
Dorothy –
I love the comfort of these shoes. If you have high arches or stand around in gyms this shoe will support you. Very airy. My favorite part is the material. With canvass/cotton breatheable materials my big toe usually punches through the top (my big toes slope upward), but with this leather type material there are no punctures from my big toes. My teenagers call these my “grampa shoes” because they are for old people. In truth, they are for people who realize how beneficial it is to have great comfortable supportive shoes. Apparently, that type of wisdom is for senior citizens and not cool moms.-I’m breaking barriers here folks. Cool mom with comfortable shoes.

This are the best walking shoes I know. I have suffered plantar fascitis, subtalar joint fusion, sesamoiditis and a cyst, which are all very painful. I love how this shoes are designed to cushion every step of your way, and I love how they come in wide sizes to fit my chunky orthotics perfectly… this shoes, plus my orthotics saved my life. I thought I was never going to be able to walk normal and without pain. Thanks Saucony for the Omni Walker. Hands down the best walking shoes on earth.

I have worn Saucony for years, and have worn the same size. This is the first time that I have bought a pair that felt so short and tight, and very narrow in the toe box. I’m disappointed. This was my first time trying this style.

I absolutely love these shoes. I have been a courier for an international shipping company for over 23 years. I walk on average 20,000 steps a day. The last few years I have developed pretty severe foot pain and stiffness. For the first time in three years, my feet don’t hurt when I walk or when I get home from work! I cannot say enough good things about this shoe!
