Third pair of these. They are fire ?

The best part about the shoe is that they color change when you touch them, the orange turns yellow. So cool!!

Super comfortable!

These are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. They were supremely comfortable right out of the box, no breaking in needed. I bought 2 pairs, one black and one orange. The orange are my favorite. They always add a great pop of color. I love them!!

Love the color…super comfy, just wish there was a little more arch support.

Since I own the Saucony Originals Jazz in black, I wanted to try them in blue. Apparently it’s not quite the same style; it’s wider, different fabric, and the tongue it different too. Really bummed they didn’t work because I would have bought more colors.

Love these shoes! They are soooo comfortable. I’ve been wearing them everywhere, all day – on walks and on the side lines of my boys’ baseball games. And I love the blue color and styling!

Should have listened. No doubt at least half size small. Had to send back. Felt comfortable and cute, but not so comfortable and cute that I bothered to exchange. Just not worth the $80 unless amazing. Ordered similar shoes in poshmark for $10 instead :).

I usually am a mens 11 in Saucony Jazz shoes. I got a pair of unisex 11 Jazz 81 and they felt smaller and were visibly a bit shorter in length than my old mens 11 Jazz Low Pros. The clincher was seeing “105” (as in, size 10.5) on the bottom of the outsoles… where my old 11’s are imprinted with “11” on the outsole… so Saucony is literally using 1/2 size smaller parts to build the unisex shoes… annoying bc they advertise the unisex sizing as being same as mens, but merrily looking at the outsole shows this to be false. As long as my replacement 11.5’s are built like the old men’s 11’s i guess I’ll be set….

I just got these babies Love them right out of the box it’s my second pair of this brand of sneaker and I have a third on the way. They’re great for the gym there light And seem to fit me right out of the box with total comfort to test will be at the gym today. The only thing the color was a little bit different than I thought it was the one I got looks more gray with the silver streak but it’s like has a hue of purple or like lilac so it’s like a grayish lilac which it’s still very pretty just not the colors are expecting but other than that they’re banging

If you have high arches, this shoe you will very likely want to use them. Perfect comfort with orthotics!
Let’s assume you will slip orthotics in this…
LOVE, LOVE AND LOVE these shoes!
Want to make Jazz Saucony my signature brand!
These shoes just make me smile 🙂 Happy Disney-type brights and a wide selection of options. I am ready looking for more in other colors.
I just need them for standing, walking and looking like a signature statement on stages. These will replace my wearing heels. So looking forward to returning to pre-COVID life and keynote speaking.
For me, if I get known for having “fun shoes” when talking/ training on a hard subject (urgent eldercare), this is a good thing.
These shoes are built like a Sketcher. Expect a thin shoe -tongue. Inner sole pulls out to fit orthotics. Heel is neutral. Comes with two sets of laces, orange and white. The underlay in UV fabric changes color in sun. Shoes can be waterproofed, which may help keep these looking new.
Just very exciting shoes for looks on so many levels! If you want show compliments, these shoes likely will have that charisma. Perfect style for anyone often described as “too serious.”
Keep people guessing!
* Go up 1/2 size for orthotics. Unisex shoes will run wider. Great if you have dancer/ gymnastics feet or arthritis bunions etc.
With laces, you can adjust width.
If you are between sizes, go up a 1/2 size if you want a wider toe box.

I loved these but walked in a mid puddle with them and the green (Pesto shoe) bled. I tried to scrub it out but it made it worse. I was so sad.
Billy –
Great shoe, but if you’re already familiar with the size and fit of the Saucony Jazz, the Jazz 81’s run at least a half size smaller and narrower than the Jazz. Size up and you’ll be good to go.

Material – especially the tongue – felt cheap.

I bought these for nostalgia reasons… they ended up being awesome!

I originally purchased a size 5.5 but it was too small – I would definitely recommend ordering up a half size. Super cute, stylish, and comfortable.

I usually wear a US men’s 10, but the 10.5 fit me fine.
They’re blue. Really blue. Like super blue. My kids are making fun of me because they’re so blue. But I’m all “Screw you kid! I make the money around in this house and I can wear blue shoes whenever I damn well please!” That shut them up.

NOT like the original Jazz! Tongue is completely different, not padded, rough sewn edge (also not padded) and juts into the front of ankle. Sole material used to be cushiony and have a slight bounce as it absorbed shock. New sole is dead, has no absorption. I have worn this brand and model for 25 year, I am so sad to have lost another well made original design to the corporate greed of cheap production.

I’ve been wearing Saucony Jazz Originals for about as far back as I can remember, and I’ve always appreciated the “don’t have to think about it, I know exactly what I’m going to get” aspect of buying a classic like this. So I was a bit surprised when it came time to replace my last pair (which lasted me 5+ years) – I went to the Saucony site, looked up “Saucony Jazz” and ordered a pair without a second thought, even though there was a noticeable uptick in price. When they arrived, I immediately noticed the big difference in the general padding of the shoe, especially the tongue, and I also thought they seemed a bit more snug than before; I flipped it over to see that I have a size 12.5 sole on my size 13 shoe. So while the upside is that the shoe seems a lot sturdier with the new, more expensive, materials, it’s also lost the luster and familiarity of the shoes I’ve loved for so many years.

I have worn the Women’s Saucony Jazz shoes for 40 years since they first came out. Have owned multiple pairs and they were always the right out of the box perfect shoe. One could always depend on Saucony.
However, I recently ordered the new Jazz 81 and sadly, they are not like the old ones.
The new version is some sort of mesh material instead of the old nylon, the tongue is thin and not padded like the old one, the toebox seems to be shallower and not as deep, and consistently the right foot of every pair I tried on seems smaller than the left. Overall, they don’t feel as cushy, and even though I ordered my correct size, they seem a bit small. My old Jazz easily fits an orthotic in them, but these new ones do not. I did order the color selections that had actual women’s sizing, not the unisex items.
And what’s up with the unisex? Would we force men to wear women’s shoes? So weird. Saucony, more than half the population are women. Please give us women’s sizes again and go back to your previous quality.

I have been a fan of the Jazz 81 shoes for many years.
I am not a runner; in fact I wear leg braces + use crutches to get around.
Jazz 81 is a perfect match for my “special needs”!!
Rusty –
I have had several pairs of the original Jazz, and I was disappointed when shopping for a new pair to find them unavailable, presumably replaced by the 81.
The 81 tongue has no padding and was uncomfortable because of this. I wore them around the house for about 10 minutes before returning. Bring back the old ones please.

These shoes are garbage. I used to love the Saucony Jazz line, and have bought several pairs. The last two have been their vegan line, and they were the best running shoes I’ve ever owned (and I have tried a LOT of brands). They discontinued those, however, so I bought these and they might actually be the WORST running shoes I’ve ever owned. They’re uncomfortable, they give me blisters, they’re not supportive, and they tilt both my feet inward. Not sure what’s going on here, if it’s just a downgrade in quality or what, but I would never buy these again.
Peery T –
Looks great and feels great, amazing value for the price. Fits a little large, but not too far out of the ordinary.
Ann –
The right shoe was fine, but the left felt wrong. There was an apparent “bump” under my left heel. Also, the toe boxes are a bit narrow.
