Women’s Saucony Shadow has not been available. Instructions were to purchase Men’s 1.5 sizes smaller. I did and they were too small. I returned and ordered a half size larger (one size smaller in men’s) and they fit perfectly.

I wanted to love these, but I after a few hours of wearing them indoors, I had to take them off. I do not think I have particularly wide feet, but these felt like they were squashing my feet sideways.

12 was just too small for me. Should have gone a size up. Good to know with Saucony going forward. Saucony & Asics always fit small.

Very cool-looking and comfortable retro shoes. I replaced the cheap polyester laces with 100% cotton ones in white, and they could be straight out of 1978. Not sure I would actually run in them, but as a comfortable lifestyle shoe they are perfect. They look great with wide-legged high waisted jeans.

The last pair I had were the Courageous model. They felt well made and with thicker and more durable materials than these. I guess just like with many things these days, the price goes up yet the quality goes down.

The fit, style and color were perfect but the sole is so HARD I had to take them off when I was just sitting in them. So disappointing as I have worn Sauconys for years and the cushioning has always been a plus.

I haven’t bought shadows in years, I was an avid fan of the Jazz. But since the “81” redesign of the shoe, and utilizing unisex sizing, I’ve moved on to other brands. I went ahead and ordered a pair of the shadows hoping the engineers didn’t ruin these as well. Wrong. The toe box is now tight and uncomfortable same as the 81 unisex redesign. What was once the most comfortable retro shoe, is now just another fashion statement. Similar to onitsuka tigers. These absolutely suck and hurt my feet. I wish Saucony would listen to their customers and go back to making these shoes with the original design. Which was flawless.

Great shoes! I wanted some retro ones that looked like the ones I wore back in the 80s and these not only fit that bill, but they’re super comfortable.

I’ve been happily getting Saucony Jazz variant shoes (Jazz, Jazz 81, Jazz Low Pro, etc…) for years and have been very sad to see the color choices wane in recent years, so I decided I’d try a pair of Shadows. I got the same size I’d been getting for the other Jazz shoes, but these were too tight in the toe area, so I got a half-size up and they’re just right. They did seem stiffer than the other Jazz’s I’ve gotten before, but I’ve only worn them out once so far. I didn’t think about them at all when I wore them out, so I’m hoping that once they break in they’ll be just as lightweight and comfortable as all the other Jazz shoes I’ve gotten. I always immediately replace the insole with Dr. Scholl’s plantar fasciitis insoles because I’m old, so I can’t speak to the arch support of the original insoles.

I have bought these in the past and absolutely loved them. These helped my arch support way more than my Cohesion 15 Saucony shoes. My legs feel less fatigued wearing these as well. I walked Disney for 10+ hours and never had calf cramps. And on top of it all, they look amazing!

The soles are very stiff. My heel slipped out when trying to walk in them. The tongue is stiff and not padded. It rubbed on my ankle no matter how I positioned it.
