I have to say that I got these yesterday and I set out to do a break in 3 mile run as this is usually as far as my old knees will let me go any more…..but these are so good that I ended up running 12 miles and my knees never felt a thing. The combination of great, soft, well placed padding in the sole, and the natural stride shape made this a life changer for me. It feels like I am running bare foot only without the constant ouchies from rocks and such. The stride is so natural that they have corrected my tendency to run on the balls of my feet. The shape is not extreme…but enough to keep me coming down on my heels first..where the thickest padding is there to absorb all the shock. The body of the shoe fits like my skin but does not squeeze thus allowing my old feet to provide maximum circulation. The combination of all this had me running half a marithon in 30 degree weather at nite because it felt so natural and pain free. I will not run in anything else again.l

I’ve used the Ride 15, the Triumph 20, the Endorphin Speed 3, the Echelon 9, and now the Ride 17. Each is award worthy but, to my mind, the best shoe for me, the best combination of cushioning (neither too squishy soft nor too firm), energy return/resilience/bounce, and stability is, without question, the Ride 17. The Powerun PB in the Speed 3 and the Powerrun+ in the Triumph 20 are outstanding, but the Powerrun+ in the Ride 17 is very, very good. I’m an older overweight walker with need for a stable platform so it’s with joy that I commend the Ride 17.

I received my Saucony – Ride 17 last month. Shoe is made of high quality materials. Very well constructed. Very comfortable on my feet. Remains comfortable after all day wear. I would recommend this sneaker to others. Very good product

My husband is an avid runner and always chooses Saucony sneakers. These shoes were perfect as usual for his long distance running. Style is nice too but the comfort and support these offer him and better than any other brand he has tried in the past. Definitely recommend if you need a super supportive sneaker that’s good for lots of miles.

Very nice change from the ride 16. The Ride 17 now features a softer PWRRUN+ midsole instead of the firmer PWRRUN we were used to. It has a new engineered mesh upper, too, with a totally revamped set of overlays.

As I age, my feet change. I’m an avid walker, about 2 1/2 miles a day at about 3 1/2 miles an hour. These are the best shoes I could possibly ask for at this point in my life. I enjoy them so much I bought a second pair.

Great fit and design. Amazing colours and very lightweight running shoes that are great for walking and fit my wide orthotics. Awesome update to a staple. Maintains a lot of the same characteristics, while improving the overall experience underfoot. Midsole has the perfect blend of support/stability, flexibility, responsiveness and bounce for an all-rounder daily trainer. Such a comfortable shoe to kick around in, run errands, use at the gym, and of course run in. There’s nothing it can’t do!

This is my first “Ride” shoe and I purchased them locally….. my last pair were Endorphin Speed series …… The “Ride” has a nice fit, and good support and nice feel when I’m running………. At age 72, I don’t put a lot of miles on the shoe, somewhere between 10-20 a week……. just depends on how I feel when I get out there…… At the price, these are a good buy……….

I’m not much of a runner because of calf issues. But for an average joe these shoes and Saucony overall are phenomenal shoes. These particular ones are very comfortable and seem to give a bit of a push during the few times I have been able to run. These are my fourth pair of Saucony and i can’t see me going anywhere else for running shoes. Keep up the good work

Love the design but wish it was available in the lower drop (4mm) Kinvara models. 8mm drops don’t work for me.

I have purchased Saucony running shoes for at least 20 years. They never disapoint, fit great and very comforable. The Ride 17 is good lightweight shoe with a perfect fit.
